Criticise others – players, volunteers, umpires, coaches and other clubs
Show poor sportsmanship
Teamwork
We will demonstrate mutual respect and sportsmanship through adherence to the rules, fair play and a love of the game.
We Will:
Understand that every junior player needs to learn every position
Work together with our team to do well
Recognise that many hands make light work and having lots of volunteers for committee roles is celebrated
Cheer each other on and have each other’s backs
Let our coaches know what we would like to improve on in training
Work as a team with all of our friends and have fun
We Will Not:
Put down teammates
Demand to play in certain positions
Walk away upset without trying to understand feedback from our coaches, our parents and our teammates
Fun and Friendship
We encourage participation and enjoyment of the sport of netball. Our community coming together encourages a feeling of belonging and bonding over experiences, strengthening existing friendships and creating new ones.

Make new friends from a variety of schools
Enjoy new friendships formed by parents
Continue to build and maintain our lifelong friendships
Have fun together during training and when competing

Leave people out
Respect
We will value and include our members and community and treat them with fairness and equality.

Listen and respect the umpires’ decisions
Respect our team and coach by attending training and always turning up on time
Recognise uniqueness and strengths of each other
Raise any concerns in a respectful and kind manner
Respect our training and match day facilities and equipment

Argue and talk back to the umpires
Talk back or disrespect our coaches
